The project "AIRTUBE" allows the transportation in continuous of volumes of maximum +/- 60 dm³ (40 cm X 40 cm X 40 cm), +/- 50 Kgs, to a speed of 100 to 300 Km/h.
It is necessary therefore to imagine a very dense system of tubes, a diameter of +/- 60 cm. In these tubes, circulate the by air powered double spheres. The system comprises subsystems of switching, acceleration, braking and control. The whole is managed by computer. Each sphere hold its identification, source, destination and other characteristics. These data are readed by collectors (sensors) on the network and determine actions of progress.In a first stage, starting points and arrival would be stations of the railway system.Could be added rapidly, the zones with high industrial activity concentration,industrial, commercial or other.

The
"industrial" target is to bring spheres up to in the factory, according to the schedule and the quantity asked via Internet. Parcels would be loaded in spheres, codes of destination and others transmitted to spheres, spheres injected on the system. These information would be transmitted to the "computer"
who manages the system. Internet would allow to "follow" the parcel on the system.

The
"domestic" target would be to give to each, the possibility to call a "Service of parcel removal at home" or to bring personally the parcel to the station. The parcel would be injected there on the network.The call to the delevery service would be made be by telephone is by Internet. Parcel arriving to a station of destination would be brought at home by this same service or put in deposit, in wait of the removal by the client.
