The project AIRROUTE allows the transportation in continuous of persons via "modules"
being able to transport 2 persons and baggage, to a speed of 100 to 300 Km / h.
It is necessary to imagine a very dense network of tubes, a diameter
of + / - 160 cm, that follows the railway system, fixed to height of the electrification. In these tubes, circulate
the " modules " powered pneumatically. Rolling cylinders reduce appreciably the energy necessary for
the movement.
The network comprises subsystems of switching, acceleration, braking and
control. The whole is managed by computer. Each module hold its identification, source, destination and other characteristics.
These data are readed by collectors on the network and determine actions of progress.
The traveler climbs in the first module that presents or that is present, (modules turn in continuous on the network
so as to avoid all wait time) the traveler codes its destination, (the payment been made via a magnetic card) after
bolting and other verifications he is blowed on the system that leads him to destination. In a first stage, starting
points and arrival would be stations of the railway system. Could be added rapidly, the zones with high activity
concentration, industrial, commercial, touristic or other.
